From Prototype to Version 1.0

For over two years, numerunique’s headquarters has been heated in winter with automatic temperature and humidity control.
Initially, the radiator’s local efficiency was boosted by a simple column fan, with humidity enhanced by an humidifier placed in front:
The system was significantly improved by replacing the column fan with more efficient and quieter computer cooling fans. Additionally, maintaining optimal temperature and humidity was automated:
Technically, it was already fully functional, but the overall presentation could be refined.
Now it’s done:
The fans are now integrated between two waterjet-cut, powder-coated steel plates. The fan power electronics (visible at the bottom right in the previous photo) are soldered onto a printed circuit board and neatly housed in a 3D-printed custom enclosure (invisible in this photo, behind the humidifier).
And there’s still room for further improvements—there always is...
