Improving Jack Stability: The Top

After stabilizing the base, the top remained an issue. The idea of leaving a car without a wheel (during a tire change) supported by something so precarious doesn’t inspire confidence:
Can you imagine resting a narrow beam on just this?
Compared to this:
Multiple steel plates, precisely cut with waterjet technology, improve stability from the lowest to the highest position:
And it’s used eight times a year, for each summer/winter tire change :-)
