Irish Coffee Funnel

The most delicate phase of preparing an Irish coffee is pouring the coffee over the whiskey: they must not mix!
Hence the idea of a special funnel:
In this base detail, the vertical slots that let the coffee pass are more visible:
Slots on the horizontal surface allow the funnel to be removed without causing turbulence:
The slots are offset to ensure the coffee diffuses horizontally at the whiskey’s surface.
A short video is ideal for demonstrating the principle:
For this example, whiskey is replaced with strawberry syrup and coffee with water, but the principle is the same, and the result is identical with authentic ingredients. Using water and syrup had a double advantage for the video: it’s clearer, and since multiple takes were needed for a visually satisfactory demonstration, the author would have struggled to write the article if he had to drink as many Irish coffees as he did strawberry syrup!
