Hexacop: A Revolutionary Trivet

Numerunique starts 2020 with a new creation: the hexacop, a revolutionary trivet!
- Hexa because it is built on the base of a hexagon.
- Cop because it is composed of elements that cooperate, each otherwise of little interest taken individually.
- Revolutionary because these elements, all identical, assemble (without glue, nail, or screw) in a revolution around its central vertical axis.

This innovation brings an unexpected advantage, discovered during use: it facilitates (voluntary) tilting of the dish in one of the three directions opposite the feet. Which proves very practical for finishing soup in the tureen or collecting sauce from the dish on top.
This first hexacop is single hexagon, but the concept can generalize to multiple cooperative hexagons using an adjustment in symmetry and subtlety in component shape. The following figure illustrates and demonstrates the concept:
