Numerunique Reinvents the Spike Holder

The spike holder offered by numerunique is arguably the iconic creation of numerunique in 2017.
It’s also a prime example of considering user feedback, attention to detail, and the pursuit of originality that drives numerunique.
Starting with the choice of wood, which makes each spike holder a unique object in itself.
The four-hole model meets musicians’ needs for quick position adjustments without altering the cord.
The single-hole model offers the advantage of being highly compact. Its small notches allow the cord to be wrapped for storage.
The anti-slip backing is embedded in the board to enhance resistance to peeling. It’s laser-cut for a perfect fit. Its effectiveness was rigorously tested by a luthier who placed a double bass with heavy pressure perpendicular to the cord. The spike holder used in this test didn’t budge, though the wood bears the mark of the spike from the luthier’s pressure.
